Task Master holds your team's plans and the time you spend on them. This page says plainly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising. There are no ads in Task Master.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, password hash (or your Google/Apple sign-in), language, timezone and display preferences.
- What you enter: projects, issues, comments, sprints, dependencies, time logs, Pomodoro sessions and your day plans.
- Security records: sign-ins, the device and approximate location of each session, and security events, so we can spot misuse.
- Usage counts: which pages and features are used, never what you typed. Titles, comments, descriptions and names are never sent to analytics.
Who can see it
Everything in a Space is visible to its current members, according to their role. Time logs show who logged them. Nobody outside a Space can see it, and our staff look only when you ask for help or to keep the service safe.
Your choices
- Export a Space, or your whole account, from Settings → Data at any time.
- Delete your account from Settings → Data. It's removed after 30 days; things you made in shared Spaces stay for the team and show "Former member".
- Turn each kind of notification on or off in Settings → Notifications.
Where it's kept
On our servers and their encrypted backups. Email goes through our mail provider (Resend) only to deliver the messages you'd expect.
